Coletta's Italian - Memphis

I gave Coletta's another try, but unfortunately, it still didn't impress me. The food was overcooked, the sauces were of poor quality, and the overall preparation and serving left much to be desired. I definitely won't be returning, and I suggest you avoid it too! The entrance had an unpleasant odor reminiscent of a musty wet dog, with hints of mold and a slight sewer smell. The front staff ignored my inquiry about the smell and hurriedly seated me at the back. When the food arrived, it was lukewarm and appeared to have been kept under a warming light for too long. I recommend steering clear of this place!

This place is truly a gem! I've dined here countless times over the past 20 years, and it never fails to deliver on flavor. My favorite dish is the homemade ravioli, which is prepared right next door, but the lasagna is a very close second. Don't forget about the iconic Memphis BBQ Pizza—it’s said that Elvis and his friends used to enjoy it here! I love everything on the menu.
