There are certain restaurants where I always seem to be on the waiting list. I've been trying to get a table at Tom Kerridge's Handflowers for ages, but the idea of waiting an entire year for a reservation seems absurd. What if I told you a little secret on how you can dine at Tom Kerridge's without the long wait?

Marlow is a bustling town filled with cars and high street shops, different from the peaceful and quiet Bray that I had imagined. The pub's interior is cozy with seating for diners at the bar and tables along the sides. With two restaurants in Marlow, the management seemed efficient, and it was enjoyable to watch Tom Kerridge overseeing the bar and chatting with customers. Marlow is also an attractive location due to its wealthy population. We were surprised when a guest complained about the small waiting area and suggested going for a walk instead. It was indeed a narrow room with staff rushing through, but it was clean and better than waiting outside in the cold. Other customers casually ordered glasses of champagne as if it were a regular Saturday afternoon. After a short wait and a glance at the menu, we were informed that the dishes were all starter/tapas size, ranging from £2.50 to £14.50. We got a walk in 2 seats at the bar for lunch at 12, good to know you can now book a table. We love the casual settings and the food is outstanding. Very much enjoyed our meal and our waiter was great too

Seventh time there you’d think it would be the same (always wonderful) no wait… even better! Tom these guys are a credit to you! personable, highly attentive and nothing too much trouble. Lovely, just lovely.
