Bidra med feedbackEating is too late. the foie grass is the best I have. here years ago and it just got better.
We went for a birthday on a Friday night in June. Reserved a table for 8 in advance. The restaurant was not overly busy. The waiter recommended the set menu as it was cheaper which was great But they did not have one of the...three choices. We went with French friends who ordered the wine to go with each course. Starters were lovely but the wine did not arrive until 3/4 of the way through the starter despite asking for it 3 times. The main meals were enjoyed by half the party and the other half thought the meal was overcooked. Cheese they had a lovely choice. Dessert again was enjoyed by half. Throughout the service was shocking and for the price which is expensive i was not impressed. Be a while again before we back
We have lunch, the flat inlet formula, very good quality price for €. impeccable service. friendly welcome.
On many occasions, the best restaurants are usually in small towns and cities. And this is the case of the Hotel-restaurant Les Glycines. His stillness and delicacy are fundamental pieces of his charm. You can choose between three types of menus: from 12.50 €, the menu Decouverte for 43.50 € or the menu Terroir for 20 € and 27.50 €. Different proposals with which you can discover the traditional dishes and recipes of Poitou-Charentes without renouncing the quality and good making of their two chefs. The part of the hotel is fantastic. The rooms are spacious and are coquettically decorated. The tranquility you breathe anywhere in the hotel is enviable!
In an area lacking good French restaurants, Les Glycines stands out. Everything we chose was innovative, beautifully presented on the plate and very tasty. Loved my foie gras starter but the cod main course was really special. great flavours, superbly cooked. My companions raved about...their pork mignon mains, especially the tender and delicately spiced radishes. The desserts were equally good. We washed this down with a good bottle of Montagny, which was not expensive. Service was first class. Loved the surroundings, especially the luxurious amount of space between tables. This restaurant is an absolute must if you're in this area of France.
