Golden Grain Bakery - Melfort

The Bismarks get all the attention, but it's the classics that really shine. Best dutchie I've had in decades.

Friendly staff and fresh baked goods! Go early to avoid missing out on pastries as they sell out fast! Lunch menu subs are first rate!

I have heard for years the Golden Grain in Melfort is a must for a bakery stop. Today I had the chance, travelling out of Saskatoon for work and passed through Melfort. Made the stop and everyone was right! Most amazing donuts!!! Choco covered bismark was heavenly and the cake donuts so lusciously soft. Need to find more reasons to head to Melfort for donuts!!

Die-for donuts here! You must try. I have a chance to go to Melfort once a year for work, and I will stop here every time. Sometimes, I thought about driving there just for the donuts.?

Smells so delicious as soon as you walk in. Friendly staff. Good variety of baked sweet treats. The glazed bismarks are awesome.Was featured on Facebook by the Saskatchewan wander.
