The Mad Italians - Melbourne

This place is really busy during brunch time on a Sunday!! Service is really great, all staff looked really happy! Food was excellent too! Huge portions! Keep up the good work guysss!!

There are a lot of cafes in the Richmond/Abbotsford/Collingwood area, and truth be told, some of them take themselves a bit too seriously! (No, I won't queue up for breakfast at my local cafe!) Quint is not 'trendy' (although it is stylishly appointed, spacious and clean), and the food is not trying to be haute cuisine (although the coffee is great and I had the best cheese and tomato toastie of my life there, and they do have GF options etc). The staff are always pleasant, they are pram-friendly, and it refreshingly lacks the 'ego' that some other local cafes possess!

This stalwart cafe in Abbotsford/Richmond has undergone a nice facelift, but the service remains good and coffee at $3.50 is good value in this increasingly gentrified area of Melbourne ...

We went here for breakfast this morning & the food was amazing.I had the granola - homemade with fresh berries, yoghurt, grated apple & coconut flakes on top, it was so tasty & filling. My boyfriend had the Mediterranean omelette and said it was perfect. Sourdough toast is good too! Would definitely go back.

It was raining, and we found out the cafe at the corner, the service was so friendly, made me feel warm and happy. Food was really yummy, I felt so comfortable here.
