Story So Far - Melbourne

This morning, I got a hot drink from this place, and not only was it impressive, but the beautiful artwork on the cup was so visually pleasing that it made me want to ditch my reusable cups! It definitely brought some brightness to my day.

I stopped by Story So Far this morning on my way to a 10am meeting. The cafe is a small and charming spot with a diverse selection of wine displayed on the wall. The coffee machine at the cafe is stylish and it made a nearly perfect latte. The only downside was that my take away cup was filled a little too low. They had pre-made rolls available for lunch, but mostly offered sweet pastries like danishes, slices, and cookies, indicating that the cafe mainly caters to customers on the go. Additionally, the cafe has a wide selection of spirits, making it a potential spot for an after-work drink. There are a few tables indoors, but many more outside, perfect for enjoying on sunny days.

I’ve yet to try the food here, however the coffee is nicely made. The colourful takeaway cups are fun and prices reasonable. I like their non-milk offerings, including coconut milk, soy, almond etc.

The restaurant shows a lot of promise. The wait this morning was long, possibly because of their meticulous barista working with an expensive coffee machine. The shop reflects a specialty coffee shop well, with a cozy and attractive atmosphere. There are also wine and liquor options, making it a great spot for happy hour. They also offer sweets and pastries. Overall, I was pleased with my latte and think this place is definitely worth a visit.

This small espresso/wine bar tucked away in Southbank was such a cosy find. The warm lighting reflecting off the floor-to-ceiling wall of wine bottles with the sweet smell of coffee and fresh pastries was like a hug on this miserable, rainy morning. Service was welcoming and friendly. Despite a morning rush, my soy latte w/ 1 was made promptly and tasted delicious; I flicked through their newspaper while I waited. The floral printed cup was a very cute touch. Would definitely revisit if I pass through the area again!
