Shinssi Hwaro Korean BBQ Restaurant

My colleague and I recently tried the Korean BBQ restaurant on Small Lonsdale for lunch. The service was great, the food was delicious, and the staff was friendly. The prices were reasonable. We plan to return with the rest of our team in the future.

I had a great time at this restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was attentive. I would definitely return and recommend trying the bark dessert.

I went to this restaurant with some friends and we really enjoyed the kitchen and Korean beer. It was a great dining experience. I'm used to eating slowly and cooking my own food, so it was a bit annoying when the servers kept coming over to cook the meat on the BBQ for us, even after we had asked them not to. I suppose this could be the norm in Korea.

The party of 4 came in and was asked to go because they wanted 2 more people. could only really evaluate the service, obviously quite bad. dodgy.

A group of friends and i went to the Little Lonsdale street restaurant for this Korean BBQ. it had been recommended to us as the offered a $25 90 all you can eat menu as well as a $29 drinks package too for the 90...minutes. i was very disappointed with this restaurant, the food itself was okay, but the service was really bad, we kept on getting ignored when we were asking for more food, and when the wait staff did acknowledge us, they took 5-10 minutes to bring us the raw meat that we were going to cook ourselves, we were right next to the kitchen so why it took so long actually bemused me. the 90 minutes drink package was poor too, if you are going to offer beer in that package, you need to make sure you actually have enough beer to satisfy your customers. all in all i felt very unwelcome to be in the restaurant and, being of european descent, i didnt enjoy being asked how we found this place by a staff member while they had a look of disgust on their face. if you want good Korean BBQ go to Dae Jang Geum on Little Bourke street. they do not offer an all you can eat but i have been there dozens of times and have never been disappointed.
