Shinmai Tasty - Melbourne

The best Japanese food I have ever eaten, the spicy tuna rolls are a must!

I am a bit hesitant to write this review because I am not sure that I want this little secret hideaway flooded with people. But, I have been to Shinmai a few times and am just so impressed with the CBD quality food at a far more reasonable price. Each item is beautifully presented and super tasty. The maki rolls are a real joy to eat, but the takoyaki are probably my favourite. Highly recommended!

We absolutely adore this restaurant, and even my child loves it. It has become one of our favorite dining spots due to its amazing food, lovely decor, and fantastic service. Believe it or not, we visit this restaurant at least three times a month because we find it so addictive. We are planning to go there again next week to celebrate my birthday. This restaurant has become a part of every significant event in our lives now.

Delicious! The food, service, and atmosphere were all fantastic. The staff were very attentive to our 3-year-old. They even have booster seats for children.
