Bidra med feedbackOnly one staff member who received patrons, cooked and cleaned up. Thankfully not busy, but there was a bit of a wait for food. Food was good, but we paid a bit more than we expected given the really minimal service.
There are plenty of places to grab lunch in the King Street block between Bourke and Lt Bourke Street. The grandiosely named Shanghai Master Dumpling cafe is a good choice for lunch. The dumplings are good (nothing amazing) and are served quickly. Prices are on the high side for what they offer.
Over the week day, the have a lunch gathering of my family of six. We enjoy very much many kinds of dumplings. I my self had a salmon salad and a chicen bun. The day is so busy, people are queeup. For the culinery lover friends, lets try this outlet. The foods are delicious , located within the CBD Melbourne.
Had lunch together with work colleagues/friends. We must have ordered about 8 lots and Shanghai fried noodles between the 7 of us. We rolled up early at 12 pm sharp as the place filled up pretty fast. One of our vegan friends had vegetarian wanton noodle soup and she was very happy. All of us walked way very satisfied with our meals. Would highly recommend if you are in the city.
What a really nice place to go. I was impressed with my crispy chicken and rice. Sounds silly but you get what you order crispy chicken and rice that’s what you get. As for the dumplings coming from a small town in Queensland I have never had dumplings like this before and was quite impressed.
