Bidra med feedbackThe restaurant has a beautiful stone floor and dim lighting, creating a lovely atmosphere. The service was fantastic and the soup I had was so delicious that I had to write a review about it. I am grateful for the recommendation from the staff at 'French Fix' to try this restaurant. I will definitely be returning.
Have you ever tried a pasta on a pizza? Maybe you've had meatballs or other pasta ingredients, but what about a carbonara pizza? That's what caught the attention of The Dear Luncher at the authentic Michelangelo Osteria. The pizzas at Michelangelo's are made in the Roman style, which intrigued The Dear Luncher. The carbonara pizza was not circular, but rather served on a cutting board with a beautiful crisscross pattern. Topped with pancetta, pecorino, egg yolk, and black pepper on a superb base, this pizza was a joy to eat and an instant favorite. The pancetta reminded The Dear Luncher of how it was made in the past, and the combination of flavors was superb. In addition to the delicious pizza, the Genuine Italian Peroni beer was a perfect pairing. The Dear Luncher gives this experience a 4.5/5 rating.
What lovely home made pasta with excellent service! You almost felt like you are in the hustle bustle of Roma eating Nona’s pasta.Surely will be back for more.Just in a food coma after lunch! Simply delicious
Our meal at this restaurant brought back memories of Italy. The staff consisted of 4 people, including 2 young girls taking care of customers, a chef, and an older woman who seemed to be the owner. We were served water and freshly baked focaccia shortly after receiving our menus. The downstairs area of the restaurant had around 5 small tables and a bench along the wall for seating up to 5 more patrons. The staff spoke in Italian and the simple menu, available on their website, made for a delightful lunch. We observed that the staff had a good rapport with customers, as one customer asked for a wine recommendation from the waitress. Overall, we preferred this restaurant over A25, which is in the same area. We still need to try +39 Pizzeria for comparison.
Great little Italian restaurant in the CBD. Michelangelo offers a everything, from traditional Italian breakfast to lunch and pizza. Love the traditional regional dinner they offer.
