Bidra med feedbackI have never been to the United States or an American diner before, but I recently visited Mason Dixon in the food court on Bourke Street. The sandwich I had was amazing and made fresh in a short amount of time. The fries were also delicious. Garet, the staff member, made sure to check in and see how our meal was. The shop has only been open for 6 months, but has a diverse menu compared to other places. The food was really good, with fresh ingredients and a nice touch of pretzels and a mint at the bottom. Overall, a great experience.
Tucked away in a cozy food court near Oaks On Collins, Mason Dixon serves up delicious American-style sandwiches. Although I usually go for their tasty Reuben sandwich, they have a wide selection to choose from. Despite being quite popular during lunch hours, the sandwiches are definitely worth the short wait, especially since you can watch them being made fresh on the grill. PS. It's funny to think that I used to remove the pickles from my McDonald's Quarter Pounders as a kid - now I can't get enough of the pretzel sides and the large pickle that comes with each sandwich.
I visited this American sandwich place, with a peculiar name of Mason Dixon, based on a recommendation. I tried the Cubano sandwich and found it to be filled generously, perfect for a satisfying lunch. The addition of pretzels and Mentos was a nice touch.
They opened a new shop at 600 Bourke in addition to their Collins location which is awesome as I cannot get enough of this place. The Reubens are second to none-so flavorful, so filling. The Cubans are also dear to my heart and this location has cheesesteaks -- yum!! Made to order and authentic, this place is definitely worth a shot.
I was strolling the food court and found this new place. All I can say is wow, every bite took me back to farmers markets in LA and I was in heaven. The range is massive, great service, prices are a little dear (depending on what you get) but it is well worth it.I ordered the Rueben Supreme, it was mouth watering, and talk about filling I was so full. The meat was cooked to perfection, the salad was yummy and the pickle added that yummy flavour (even comes with some pretzels and a mentos mint)I would highly recommend this place.
