Maki Sushi - Melbourne

A chicken bento is quite expensive and quite tasty. the personal was very friendly and the atmosphere is very to earth. would like to see a few more menu options (I.e tempura options without suppe) good place to lunch.

Super fresh ingredients and a large selection of Japanese foods via sushi. bento boxes, gyoza and so much more. yum.

I came to this restaurant because of its high Zomato rating of 3.5 stars. I ordered a combo meal with a selection of items. Everything was beautifully presented and fresh, but I found the price of $15 to be a bit high. Another issue was the small amount of soy sauce and wasabi provided. It was not enough for the amount of food provided, especially considering the credit card surcharge during the COVID-19 pandemic.

We recently decided to dine at this restaurant, but were surprised to find out that the prices had significantly increased when we went to pick up our food. The price of the prawn tempura udon had gone up from $10.80 to $12.80, and the usual three pieces of prawn tempura had been reduced to two. While we can understand prices increasing, raising the cost of food while decreasing the portion size seems unfair. I checked the website and it still showed the old prices. Not sure if we will be returning anytime soon.
