Bidra med feedbackWe ordered wagyu curry, soft shell crab Bao, duck feu orange, and deep fried ice cream. The wagyu curry had a unique sauce that was creamy and almost cheesy - it was delicious! The soft shell crab was crispy and the Bao was soft and fresh. The duck was tender and the sauce was better than average. The presentation with the nest was beautiful. The staff was friendly. The only downside was that the deep fried ice cream had a doughy skin and wasn't as crispy as we would have liked, but the flaming presentation was cool. This was our first Zomato gold experience and we highly recommend it. We will definitely be back. Thank you for having us XX.
I have been to this restaurant several times and always have a wonderful experience. They are very attentive and accommodating when it comes to children. The food is consistently delicious and the service is always outstanding. I highly recommend paying them a visit.
This restaurant is Vietnamese with French inspiration, and as it's in a bayside suburb, the decor has a beachy influence distressed wood, seahorses, fish and anchors adorning the walls. Service was efficient, but not overly warm. It was a Saturday night, and they were busy we had to go for the second sitting as the first was at 6.30pm). We all shared the fish cakes four pieces for $12. They were a bit rubbery, as seems to be the norm with Asian fish cakes, and they came with a very strong fish sauce. These were pleasant enough for our starter a bit rubbery, and a bit fishy. We had wagyu beef curry on the table, grilled lemongrass chicken with rocket salad and plum sauce, along with lamb ribs and a glazed sticky sauce. All of the dishes were delicious, with tender meat and flavoursome sauces. The red chillies on the chicken gave it a shot of heat every so often, when you chowed down on a piece. The thigh meat had great texture, and flavour; always my preferred cut. After deciding to go for dessert, we chose a creme caramel for me, and fried ice cream for the other three. Sadly, we were all a bit disappointed, and those calories could have gone to better use: My creme caramel was kinda grainy, and unpleasant, though the popcorn was cute, and the sorbet was splendid. Mr P., cousin K. and friend G. all chose the fried ice cream, mostly because of the sugar cube burning in the middle. Looked funky, but ended up being pretty ordinary. I like the idea of having a chocolate sauce on top, though. We declined coffees, and wandered off into the damp night.
We went to this restaurant for Sunday lunch and ordered a lot of food. Everything was fantastic, especially the rice paper rolls. The menu is extensive and offers something for everyone. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food. This restaurant is a hidden gem in the suburbs and highly recommended.
Went with high expectations and it exceeded! One of those quiet days it was really attentive from the staffs. Ordered soft shell crab bao, with mayonnaise substitute it was to die for! I could eat it as a meal if I want! The fishcake was also delicious. The seafood taro basket was a little different to my imagination but nonetheless was exceptional. Will come back to try other French Viet cuisine! The wagyu beef curry, barramundi fish and roast pork belly were exceptionally delicious. A must try!
