Bidra med feedbackWe were looking for a place in Newport to grab a quick breakfast after visiting a friend's house and we found Cafe Agora. The food was excellent, especially the smashed avocado which was one of the best we have had in Melbourne. Overall, it's a great spot for breakfast. If you're in the Newport area, definitely give it a try. We will be back when we're in Newport again.
Café Agora has recently reopened after previously operating as the 4 Elms Café. While it was rumored to be pretty good before, it is now great. I recently visited with my daughters and their friends for lunch and it was fantastic. The service was excellent! We tried a variety of items on the menu including scrambled eggs with bacon (served until 3 p.m.), the soup of the day which was a delicious potato leek soup topped with cream, pasta with meatballs, salt and pepper calamari, a salad for the children, and chicken and pea risotto. We finished our meal with banana smoothies, hazelnut milk shakers, chocolate milkshakes, and lattes. I will definitely be returning to try their nightly tapas selection.
One of the most authentic Mediterranean restaurants around, this place is a must-visit for anyone who loves delicious Mediterranean cuisine.

Café Agora is newly opened having been operated by the previous owners as the 4 Elms Café. Word on the street was that it was quite good then but now it is great. Today I took my daughters and their friends there for lunch and it was fantastic. The service was 10/10! We tried almost everything on the menu including scrambled eggs
