Arbory Bar & Eatery - Melbourne

Service: The waiters and waitresses were all very friendly and attentive, providing great overall service. Entrance: When my friend and I arrived in the morning, we were a bit confused about how the restaurant operated. There was no clear signage or instruction on where to wait, so we ended up walking in too far before realizing our mistake and having to backtrack. Overall: This restaurant offers amazing food at reasonable prices typical of a cafe or restaurant. I would definitely return to enjoy the fantastic atmosphere and delicious food again.

This restaurant has a great summery atmosphere! It offers a mix of outdoor and covered seating along the beautiful Melbourne Yarra. It is family-friendly and suitable for both small and large groups. You order food and drinks at the bar, and the food is served in a timely manner. The Kingfish crudo was fresh and well-balanced. The smoked salmon roe and fried potato cakes were a delicious and generous snack. The lobster roll was filled with plenty of lobster, well-marinated, although the mayonnaise was a bit overpowering. A hint of lemon or lime would have been a nice addition. The bun was soft and lightly toasted, and while the potato crisps were unnecessary, the dish was still delicious compared to others I've had. The chips with pecorino were fantastic, with a great truffle flavor. I would definitely return to this restaurant.

I had never tried the food at Arbory before, but I was pleasantly surprised! I ordered the Crumbed Mushroom Halloumi burger with tomato relish and crinkle cut fries for $19.00. The burger had a toasted bun, crispy lettuce, melted halloumi cheese, and juicy mushrooms. I especially enjoyed the melted halloumi cheese; it added a unique touch to the burger that I hope to see more of in other dishes. The crinkle cut fries were very crispy and salty, making them a fun side to enjoy. The atmosphere at Arbory is lively and they have a good selection of drinks available. Just be mindful of the weather if you choose to dine in the open space.

Breakfast here is really tasty. But, there were multiple hairs in my meal which was really off putting. The staff are decent but not overly friendly.
