Al Forno Bentleigh - Melbourne

I am not bothered by the lack of complimentary bread, unlike some other reviewers. If you really want bread, just order the garlic bread and move on. I have visited Al Forno multiple times and have always been impressed with their ability to consistently serve high-quality food at a fair price. Keep up the good work, guys!

Located in Bentleigh, this restaurant is a fantastic spot for dining. Although I have only experienced their food through takeout, it never fails to impress me. It has become my go-to choice for takeout every week. Make sure to try their delicious pulled pork pizza, it is a must-have!

I have visited Al Forno three times now, and each visit has been excellent. It may be a small local restaurant, but it is definitely worth a try. The food is always delicious and the service is top-notch. They are very accommodating when it comes to adjusting pasta dishes and always get your requests right. Their gnocchi is incredibly soft and delicious, and their sauces are fantastic. I have tried the gnocchi with chicken and avocado in a cream sauce, as well as with a yummy curry sauce (which was surprisingly delicious). On two out of the three visits, I have also enjoyed their chocolate mousse, which was a delightful treat. The only small downside I can think of about Al Forno (if I had to nitpick) is that they do not play music, so the ambiance is lacking. However, the decor is pleasant and the staff are friendly, combined with the amazing food, making it my favorite local Italian restaurant now. I highly recommend Al Forno for a family dinner and it is reasonably priced as well.

Had a lovely family dinner tonight at this place. The peri peri Chicken Pizza was excellent and vegetable gnocchi was quiet good. Tiramisu was excellent and we totally loved it.

Have ordered from here with Menulog over 5 times now. Have ordered various pizzas, parmas and burgers. Everyone has been very please with the quality and portions of the food. Love it, definitely a great local go to. A bonus that they're open and deliver till 2am on Friday and Saturday nights !!!
