Planned surprise Birthday Celebration for over 30 people recently.Food and service excellent as was the environment for this type of occasion.The comments of those who attended were all positive.The attention to detail for those who had special dietary requirements was superb.Thank you Pep
We enjoyed an evening meal here, had several pizzas to share. Staff were fantastically friendly, but pizzas were in need of improvement, my mazzara pizza came with the tiniest prawns imaginable, so it certainly was stuzzichini, (teaser). Arancini starters were okay, if a little dry and on the small side. Desert was fantastic. Very hospitable management and staff, we were generously treated to a round of limoncello after the meal.
On the menu there are mainly first courses and stuffed focaccias, we tried three focaccias. Light and tasty at the same time, absolutely affordable cost, fast service. Local located in a central pub style area. For a quick lunch or an ideal snack.
Well the old red olive site has had a make over and all for the best i think.. It certainly is whiter lighter and brighter.. Came for dinner as i wasn't up for cooking and it was mid week and we didn't want to travel far... Great choice the pizza is definitely better - well much more how i like my pizza thin tasty with puffy edges. Had chips with truffle aioli - to be honest a normal aioli would have been better.. the truffle oil is too overpowering but the best we had was on the specials - sardines with lemon... So fresh and juicy and light perfect!!! This pizzeria in the old days used be packed - i guess people don't like change - as it was quiet the night we went... but you know what i don't mind because i will certainly be back and this way i don't have to wait for a table!!!
