Earthy Eating Cafe - Melbourne

I was glad to see a vegetarian cafe in this neighborhood, but most of the things were commercial cakes and shop purchased Burger. We had two Funky Pies the kitschige chicken one and the bolognese one, accompanied by a grain salad $7,50 each). The cakes were fine, the same thing I expected. Unfortunately, the salad was cool, with this solid moist quality that brings this, so things like rice and cashew nuts are not very beautiful. I was super hungry, so I also ordered a vegan burger $9.50) that was simple, but good, with a pretty decent mock meaty patty and a piece of vegan cheese. While the food was not completely excellent, it was perfect for the low prices.

Did not have a warm meal during the day! (Monday) Smoothie's cake only, I really wanted a meal..

I absolutely adore this café. The vegan burger is made with a perfect veggie patty, filled with just the right amount of seeds and legumes for a delicious crispness, and topped with a fantastic sauce. Highly recommended!

On November 19th, I ordered and enjoyed the Chili Non-Carne Pie and Salad, along with a vegan soy hot chocolate, all for a total of $14. The restaurant has a pretty limited selection of vegan meals, but it's good to know that there is something available. On June 19th, I was happy to discover a vegetarian café in an area where such options were lacking. The menu was not specifically labeled as vegan, but the staff were willing to accommodate by making vegetarian meals vegan upon request. Many items on the menu appeared to be vegan by default. I found the curry pie salad (consisting of spinach and tomatoes) to be nice, although a bit pricey at $12.50. The vegan Turkish dish, on the other hand, was a better value at $8.50. I would definitely consider returning to try more items from the menu. (Updated review as of June 5, 2019)

It's great to have another dining option in the area. This vegetarian restaurant offers affordable prices and decent food. While most of their pre-made dishes are vegetarian, they are more than willing to make them vegan upon request. They also serve decent coffee and have a wide selection of raw desserts. It's nice to see them busy on a Sunday morning.
