Landhaus Nordhelle - Meinerzhagen

The Landhaus Nordhelle offers a very nice view. The first impression of the hotel was actually quite positive. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. But I had no luck with my room. When I first came to the room, it seemed like the room wasn't ready. On the floor in front of the bed lay a bed sheet from the previous guest. I also counted three living and a dead spider in the whole room. A spider was so big that you couldn't overlook her. In the bathroom the shower curtain hangs on the towel holder. The toilet paper was very inadequate. That was the case with the toilets in the hallway. The cosmetic towels and the shower money were unfortunately empty. The food was tastefully not my case. But everyone has a different taste. All in all, I'm glad I didn't have to spend long in Landhaus Nordhelle and don't know if I would recommend this hotel.

We were the only guests and were treated like kings; the staff was just great! The atmosphere is very family and friendly. In fact, after viewing the pictures on the Internet, I had presented the hotel a bit more modern, but the equipment (swimming bath, restaurant, sauna and the great gym left nothing to be desired. During breakfast we received all our wishes and received great tips for sights and walks. We will definitely come back again!

The Landhaus Nordhelle is a meeting hotel with a mountain character. We traveled there as a couple to spend a nice feel-good weekend and were bitterly disappointed. The information on the Internet and the reality do not agree in part. For example, through text and images, expectations were awakened that were far from fulfilled. Already at the greeting we were disturbed by strange corona rules. We shouldn't be allowed to take a room as a couple because we don't live together. Even at times of contact restrictions the contact of couples was always held?! There is a presumption that it was more of the religious conservatives than the corona rules. Once in the room we found that the double bed was two single beds. The sockets were placed on the head part, at the level of the pillows in the middle of the bed. The hoped and praised bathtub on the internet did not exist throughout the house, according to the managing director. The pleasant view was a view of the cellar staircase and a slope. The restaurant was more like a canteen. Instead of a la carte, there were very limited, overpriced buffet of inferior quality from our view. During breakfast, we had to look for cutlery, cups of other tables together. The breakfast itself was good and rich. The pool that even exceeded our expectations would also be positive. The (textile) sauna, on the other hand, was again in need of reconciliation because it was designed as a passage. Since we were in the field for a long time, it was okay overall. Wellness is different. The cleanliness also left to be desired. To save the weekend, we moved to another room with queen bed. Unfortunately, the toilet glasses were still contaminated with brown residues from the previous guest. The delivered towels had undeffinable yellow spots, but was replaced for complaint. However, it should be mentioned positively that the staff was friendly and tried. Effort alone is not enough for well-being. Not to be charged to the house are the state of the general toilets, which after the use of some other guests was also liable. Here, some guests should take their noses and remember their parents' education. All in all, we would have spent the weekend more cozy at home.

Could we give more stars, we'd do it. All employees of the house are unsagably friendly and accommodating. Despite the bad weather, we were busy all the time, whether Billiard, Kicker, fitness room, bowling alley, table tennis, sauna, swimming pool, the hotel offers everything to spend a few relaxing days as a family. Never one has the feeling that any area is overflowing, quite on the contrary: we felt the entire hotel for us alone, although it was almost fully booked according to an employee. The price/performance ratio is absolutely appropriate. We would like to thank you for a nice short holiday and come back.

The stay at Landhaus Nordhelle was outstanding. As part of a training course in July, we were able to enjoy the hospitality of the farmhouse. The food was varied and very delicious. Every employee is friendly and accommodating. Even my 30th birthday was registered by the staff, so I got an attention from the house. In addition, the hotel is very nice, so many hiking routes can be reached quickly. An absolute recommendation.
