Denver Modern Grill - Medellín

Different way of have your meal, you cook by yourself. Its ok probably for a group, not for a couple or solo. Considering that you cook by yourself they should have better side orders with the main course.

I was in Poblado Medellin Nov/Dec 2017 and ate here at the Denver Modern Grill several times. Cooking meals together at the table is a great bonding experience for a first date and very romantic. Good friendship bonding experience. The food was always fresh and...well seasoned. I had the steak, salmon and shrimp. Family style and sharing different plates was awesome. Service was exceptional. Molina Merlot bottle of wine was always good. BBC beers are served. Deserts/Postri's were a nice way to complete a wonderful dining experience at the Denver Modern Grill.

I had the displeasure of eating at Denver Modern Grill tonight and I have to report it was horrible, Do not waste your time and money eating here, The meat is thin and not good, Our friend was served a somewhat edible steak and ours...was just thin and disgusting. We sent it back and got a replacement that was even worse, The manager came over and said he would give us a discount for the steak instead of taking it off the bill, Plus I ordered some wine and they brought over a shot of liquor and forgot to take it off the bill, This place shpould be avoided at all costs,

The hotel is located on the first floor of a mini-centre, it is quite easy to find whether you are in Poblado area. Price for a rib eye was 95,000 COP, which is not very expensive for foreigners, but unlikely in price range to average...Colombian. You choose your meat and cook it yourself in your personal grill. Comes with one side and I will recommend the vegetable rice very tasty. Waiters don't speak English so the manager had to explain. Good quality of meat. Cooking time is more of an individual taste, so try a piece, measure the grill temperature and make a test run. Overall nice, comfortable, tasty and friendly.

If you want to cook your own food, come here. Not to disappoint. The food was good. Prices decent. Just too.
