The Almond Train - MCLAREN VALE

The unique setting of this cafe, located in a converted train carriage, coupled with its beautiful location in McLaren Vale, creates a delightful dining atmosphere.

This charming, retro train provides complimentary samples of nuts, jams, chocolates, and olives.

I am writing this review of the café focused solely on their excellent customer service and bike rental options.

Although this could be deemed to be a 'novelty', this cafe set in an old train has oodles of charm for children and adults alike. We enjoyed an afternoon tea of scones, great coffee (I don't say that lightly!) and excellent milkshakes (with over 100 flavours to choose from). A nice array of local products can be bought from another carriage.

A small business promoting local produce. Came a a group and we relaxed outside waiting for each other to look through.
