d'Arry's Verandah - MCLAREN VALE

I have never used the word "sublime" to describe anything, but there's a first time for everything.

I gave this 5 stars because of the overall experience! We had the Degustation menu with wine pairing. The food was very good and went well with the wine

Everything about this place is 5 starFood service wine environment is perfectI would recommend doing the degustation menu if you have a few hours.

The cube is coming on well but not open yet. The wines are award winning. All meals are really good but the lobster bisque is to die for. I would love to have it as a main size. Service is always good.

Our first time at D'Arry's Verandah and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience - it was a wet windy day and the open fire in the tasting area was a welcome sight. The offer to order our food then visit the wine tasting area whilst we waited - to be called back to our table when the food arrived was a lovely introduction to the wines. The food was presented extremely well - particularly the soup. We were almost too full to try a dessert but a share of the petit fours was luckily manageable and equally enjoyable - the food was fantastic, service excellent and the wine suggestion perfection - despite the rain we did get to experience the fantastic view - it was a lovely day out - will definitely be back
