Subway - McHenry

I love this Subway. Very friendly and personable owner(? . Always smiling and interacting with customers. The shop is clean and organized. The food/bread is fresh and delicious. They don’t skimp on the meat. Two nice scoops of meat on the steak and cheese. I never pass up a sandwich from Subway on my way out of Walmart.

Bread tastes terrible. Not at all fresh for sure and the lazy guy didn't bake the bread well enough.

The owner of this location and his wife are so friendly we literally come to this subway because of them. If it's is other staff no thank you. Great sandwiches ??

This subway does NOT accept coupons and they do NOT have a sign posted saying so, which is upsetting because all the subways I've been to locally that do NOT accept coupons have a sign saying so. We pulled it out at the beginning of ordering and weren't told that they wouldn't take it until paying. I was very tempted to just leave without our food.
