Jexal's - McHenry

Great fun. Sweet little jewel of a place. Doesn't look like much from the outside, but the interior is spacious and much bigger than the appearance. Very friendly staff. We had Zach as our server and he was great!! Very personal, attentive and funny. It wouldn't be fair not to mention his trusted sidekick/coworker Nate. The 2 of them made the experience even more fun. The prices are reasonable and the food tastes fresh. The signature drinks are fabulous. In any case, again becomes this little jewel in Crystal Lake / McHenry.

I came here with my parents for the first time last week. It was very busy, but we sat in a heated outdoor terrace that was quiet and comfortable. The service was fast and attentive and the food came out relatively quickly. I ordered a side of sweet chili boneless wings and the Jexels chicken sluice. The wings were not excessively saucy that I liked and actually a decent size for boneless. The pack was unique with Pecans in it, and was a good size, and the avocado spread was really tasteful and well mixed with the chicken and bacon. If you are in the bar type of burgers and wings, I think this place had a nice ambience, good service and good food for a 20$ price tag. I will be coming back

Today, while we are dining out the area for places, we stopped eating at this facility for a bite. We had our service dog, our boy Joey with us and weren't sure he was loud? Yeah, it was okay, but on the way or on the terrace. My wife and I were very happy with the staff there. Very helpful and always with a smile! The food was good. A lot for the retreat home. Our server even gave our boy Joey a can of water with ice cream in which he loves it! We'll be back. Thanks to all the staff there for our time a relaxing and pleasant event! I love this place. Second home for me! Here is the Mussels appetizer, the Spinach Dip (with melted cheese on top-Yummy) with Pita chips, and of course the absolutely amazing Amy. The property and the employees are phenomenal and I would recommend this place to everyone!!

I recently moved to McHenry and decided to try Jexal's for the first time tonight (01/24). I placed an order for delivery around 7p.m. The girl that took my order was very polite and professional. I ordered a pizza and wings and was told they'd arrive within the hour. I was somewhat surprised when only 30 minutes later an extremely friendly young lady delivered my food. Both the pizza and wings were fantastic, and the only downside to my experience was the fact that they forgot the ranch I ordered to go with my wings. I did receive carrots and celery, which I didn't ask for, so I'm not sure if they automatically come with the wings. Either way the food was delicious and I will definitely be ordering again, I'll just make sure I have my own ranch on hand next time!!
