Bidra med feedbackThe temperature in the dining room was below 68°, this made the long waiting period for eating a little more than we had geduld. none of our party of four wanted to hunt or hoodie due to temperature decrease. When the food arrived, it was cold in the first 3 to 5 minutes, depending on what we had. the quality of the food was good, but over price. also, on Saturday afternoon, the only menu was available a brunch menu. we expected that we could at least order from a lunch or dinner menu.
Great spot for a date night. The drinks are good and Food is great. Order the meatballs as a small plate. The sauce is okay but you won't need it with those meatballs. Burger is A+. Best burger in the county. Make sure you get the truffle fries with it. Drinks are good as well. One of best restaurants in the county. Go for date night. Can bring kids but it is a cozy spot during the winter but summer they have a patio and kids should be able to go as well.
I saw STARSHINES on OpenTable and could hardly believe it… a farm to table restaurant right here in McDonough?! We usually drive to Atlanta when we want a fresh and delicious dinner, but I decided to try Starshines and I was blown away at the experience. Everything was absolutely fantastic, from the appetizer to dessert to the service and the atmosphere. I think I found my new favorite restaurant right in my back yard!!!!
As always, I enjoy the food. I was a bit saddened by the fact crab cake Benedict was out of season and they were all out of lobster Benedict but the Starshines Breakfast is always a great backup.
We waited beyond our confirmed time. It was cold inside. And they forgot to enter my mom’s order. It was her 79th birthday. I just don’t think they know how to be a great brunch place. But I’m spoiled living in Atlanta!
