Bidra med feedbackThe mercantile building has a cool feel to it but this place itself was disappointing. Croissant was pretty sad looking. They didn't have many other food options either. They had some cozy places to sit and sold some cute small non food items. Pretty limited food options around McCloud in general though.
I love the looks of this place. It's in the old McCloud Mercantile. Unfortunately the 4 of us had a terrible experience this morning. After waiting almost 45 minutes for three croissant sandwiches and one bagel, the bagel had been forgotten, and the croissants sandwiches were so greasy we threw them out. My brother-in-law kept going inside to find out where the bagel was and they hadn't even started making it. My sister finally got her bagel, but the whole experience was very negative. We live in Mccloud, and we were hoping to share our lovely town with family. After spending almost $35 for greasy inedible food that took almost an hour, I'd say, this place is going to need a huge amount of work and overhaul to make it good.
Delicious coffee and very nice baristas. I will come back every time we come through.
Monday afternoon delight. My taste buds were tingling with this delicious treat. The Avocado toast was crafted to perfection. A single slice of toasted bread held the magical ingredients. The Cocoa Dream smoothie was nothing more than astonishing. A perfect blend of chocolate and coconut pieces. The taste meter went to the clouds!
If you're looking some excellent coffee options in McCloud, this is your first and best option. They have a beautiful Italian espresso machines, and the right beans (Stumptown coffee roasters) for it. Opened in April, the Savory Cafe is run by the same couple that runs the Harvest restaurant at the McCloud Golf Course. Our sandwiches were good as well, but make sure you get a coffee. You won't be sad about it.
