Schlotzsky's - McAllen

Ordered online for delivery which was a huge mistake. I did not know the sandwiches came hot so everything in the sandwich was soggy and the lettuce and tomatoes were not fresh because of it. Buns were gross and soggy and the potato soup had so much shredded cheese I had to stop eating it. Customers who order online should have the option to have their sandwich fresh instead of assuming everyone knows your sandwiches are all hot. Otherwise I would have never ordered with you, I just wasted 18 dollars on one half sandwich and soup meal. Be aware of how your sandwiches are getting to your customers who order for delivery or else get out of the game because that was sad.

Ordered online for pick up. Got there 30 min later and order wasn't ready. We didn't mind waiting. There were 3 people working in the kitchen and nearly empty of customers inside so we thought it wouldn't be that long of a wait. Nearly an hour after placing order it came out missing an item. Tried going back inside to tell them the item was missing but only 1 person was manning the counter and they had an extremely long line of customers waiting to place orders. I won't be ordering from this place again. It's very apparent they could've used more employees on staff. I will just make my own sandwiches like a grown up and save myself the stress and $10.If you are in a rush please note this place is great but will be taking long.

I’m a creature of habit, and for about 8 years I always ordered the Roast Beef Cheese, except for today. I tried the new Calzone. One word…INCREDIBLE! Ordered the Italian. By far this beats everyone’s calzone, hands down. I was only able to half, as it was so filling, and delicious! Melted cheese, pepperoni, shredded Parmesan, ham, and cotto salami. Mmmm! Try it!! You won’t Forghettaboutit!!

It was busy at the time but they were very efficient. As well, they were friendly.

Especially the checkout (older man lacks customer service, I think he hated his job, I was never greeted, took my order (which I missed items old buildings, inconsistency, I am not back and I am definitely not recommending this place to my friends and employees....
