We were so glad to see that El Pato is still a mainstay in the RGV after being away for many years! It isn't the inexpensive taco hut it used to be, but it's so delicious, and the portions were generous. DH was able to get his longtime favorite carne guisada tacos with avocado, while I was able to indulge my obsession with barbacoa. El Pato's tortillas are the best! Even our teens commented on how soft, fluffy, and flavorful they were.
