Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Manuel was an amazing and friendly server. Very attentive and consider what we have. Asked if we need a warm milk for our baby bottle before leaving, we brought 2 cups with hot water and one with regular water to measure the heat itself. Overall, he is the best server we met, which is literally all taken into account with us. The food was also amazing and this is more than likely to be our going to every week. The only thing that makes this restaurant 4 stars would be the hosts who sound very hostile when they try to sit you. Child friendliness: Offer some warm water for the bottle of our baby.

Horrible server who wears black sleeves. I wonder why. It 's a hearing aid he needs and two cents. The moron took our order and brought them back both wrong then proceeded to verbally talk down to me saying next time I needed to be more specific . The idiot heard loaded baked potato I said loaded sweet potato. The reason I know for a fact that I clarified what I ordered was because I POINTED at it. So he 'd see. Apparently he chose violence because as he scoffed his smug ass at me I demanded the manager. Manager and I 'm assuming a higher up got an earful and then proceeded to apologize for the ex Wendy 's workers attitude to which I told them if they were apologizing for him to save it he 's the one who caused this mess and that 's because I didn 't mention the both orders were in-fact incorrect. He asked what type of gravy, gave the choices -an answer was given and they came dry. He brought two macaronis and the order was for one. This guy was either high. Stupid. Or both. Because now that I 'm writing it out, thinking about it -he spoke without error and I know sign language, he wasn 't deaf. I don 't excuse stupidity. And I don 't eat loaded baked potatoes. Cracker Barrel is canceled because of a moron who I 'm willing to bet has been wrong before. I didn 't get his name but you know who you are...If circus is hiring. Get on that band wagon.

This was a busy Sunday afternoon. The 20 minute wait turned into a 45 minute wait but we were finally seated. Service was slow but it was busy and that was to be expected. Then everything started to go bad. I order a glass of orange juice and regular coffee. They arrived at the same time. I sampled the juice and was truly revolted by its taste. Faint orangy colored dish water best describes its taste. My wife agreed and my 13 year old granddaughter almost spit it out. I told the waitress to take it back and forget about the juice. After a few minutes, the balance of our breakfast was delivered to our table. Only 2 of the 3 eggs came on my plate, the pancakes were so cold the butter wouldn't melt on them. My wife's pancakes were dark brown almost burnt but still not warm enough to melt the butter. No one finished their bacon as it had a rancid taste to it. The service was more than adequate but the taste and quality of the food were not up to the usual good Cracker Barrel standard. I am taking this as an anomaly and will try Cracker Barrel again but...... if we have a similar experience, then our breakfast will eaten at Mickey Dee's. At least the food is consistent.

We (me especially) LOVE Cracker Barrel. We sometimes vary in our opinion based on the service, because the food is usually pretty on point. We had a good experience this time, as well. It could have been outstanding, but service was just a smidge off. For example, we did not get any napkins with our silverwhere. We had to go looking for our server to ask for some. Also one in our party ordered pancakes and did not get any pancake syrup. Again we had to looking for someone to get us pancake syrup. But the food was good and the servers we nice enough when asked for the things we needed.

Man it stinks when one of your go to family places really lets you down . Kids wanted breakfast for dinner so my wife and I brought them here . Waitress was in unenthusiastic to begin with , it was not busy at all . We got our drinks quick with the biscuits and corn bread . Always kids drinks were wrong but they were thirsty so we let that go . Ordered our meals and waited . Drinks all finished after about 5 minutes . Our waitress never came back . Never saw her to get her attention . Another server brings our diner . Son had the pancakes with bacon . Bacon was over cooked and no syrup for the pancakes nor did he have anything to drink . They literally brought my daughter a plate with bacon , forgot her toast , and some old French fry's . They brought me my broccoli casserole but not my plate . The casserole had one giant piece of broccoli covered with bread crumbs as if was the last scoop from the dish . To add to it it was cold . Our plates come , meatloaf potato's and corn all cold , wife's plate chicken with casserole and broccoli, all cold . And we still hadn't gotten our drinks our my daughter her toast and their drinks . It took almost 10 minutes to get syrup for the pancakes by the time it got there they were cold already . Took forever to get toast !!!!!! After asking to heat up our food the waitress got upset . It wasn't busy at all and that's what's more upsetting .. We will go back in sure but come on 55$ for two dinner plates that we didn't even finish !!
