Bidra med feedbackWifi even works to do some light video streaming, unlike ALL of nearby hotels. It's clean. Like water, most of the time is available for showers. Rooms are simple, but no bedbugs or villains. The café is comfortable. Not very loud. Mosquito net is more spacious on rails above the bed than the typical ones. The lighting in the room is dim. Apparently they have a gym in a back building that is open after 6:00, but I haven't visited yet. The receptionist brought me a laundry woman who had my bag with laundry for only 20k. At first they quoted 5k per shirt, but when I spoke to the laundry woman personally, the price of 20k was much lower for everyone. At 80k a night, it's a good deal. Breakfast is a cooked egg, banana and bread with butter. I get coffee or you can choose tea. The bathroom is very simple and clean. The flushing mechanism is good. I've been here for two weeks. I thought the hot water was a small button right in front of the room. Turn it and wait 10 minutes for hot water. A little loud outside, so I recommend bringing some earplugs for night. Sometimes energy goes out, but a backup generator occurs within about 30 seconds. Room service comes every day to change sheets if you want it.
The accommodation is 50,000/ for the lowest rooms, spacious with warm water.
Rooms are comfortable, but the low income earners, temutawaana bambi
Nice simple place to locate, Despite being in the middle of Mbarara city, it is a quiet place inside, and free from town noise,
Good enough but service minimal. I chose the cheapest room option which meant I slept in the basement. I paid 40k (room only). The only downside was that there was no natural light so I overslept. Light bulb wasn 't working and staff didn 't seem bothered about replacing it. I checked in at 11 p.m. so I guess she must have been asleep. Plenty of hot water. Bed and linen and mosquito net fine. Didn 't try TV or internet. #diaryofamuzungu #ExploreUganda #EastAfricaTravelDirectory #Mbarara
