Tacos El Chilillo - Mazatlán

Saw the review in M! Oct 2012 issue for this new taco place brought to you by Chef Diego Becerra from Diego's Beach House which is next door to Costa Marinera in the nothern Golden Zone. Although I don't agree with Janet's spelling of many words (including the name of the restaurant) I do agree with her that the tastes are great. We had tacos. Birria (beef), Pecho de res (brisket) and Cochito and Cochinita Pibil (pork) all slow roasted and tender shredded meat. Diego's sister was there making the torillas fresh inside and they bring a quartet of sauces to the table for your tacos and a couple EXTRA hot red chilis on the table. Beware! Great flavors and inexpensive. 10 tacos & 2 sodas $120 - nice!You wil find it on Dr Carvajal, just north of Juan Carrasco, Centro Mazatlan. Around the corner from Pizza Extreme Factory. Can't wait to return for the huaraches and tortas.
