La Mona Centro - Mazatlán

We ended up eating here because the restaurant we were heading to happened to be closed that night. The service was good and also the pizza. It overlooks the Marina.

We have visited the marina location many times and have never been disappointed. Their salads and brick oven pizza are excellent. The view of the marina at sunset is fabulous. Very popular with both the locals and the gringos. Wednesday is flip for free drink night.

La Mona is a great local source of pizza and other Italian offerings in a relaxing environment. They also have the largest display of Osuna agave liquor (aka tequila) outside of the factory.

The salads and pizzas are awesome but don’t have it delivered , unless you want a mushy salad or a cold pizza It is kind of out the way and hidden but well worth the food and ambiance,

The staff make this restaurant, they are fantastic. For a Brit the beer (Tres Islas) is as close I can get to home. The food is really good and the WiFi actually works.
