We have walked by this reataurant many times and always said we had to eat here sometimes because it looked very appealing. Today we decided to come here and it proved to be our best breakfast during this 3 month trip to Mazatlan. My wife had an omelet(sausage I think) and I had the eggs Benedict which was superb. Our waiter was very attentive and helpful. He even ran halfway down the block to bring me my backpack which I had forgot to take with me.
We love walking the beach and stopping here for breakfast. Food is good, service is good and people watching fun. After breakfast always pick out a couple of wines to take back to the condo. Nice selection.
Went here twice, 1st time for a couple of glasses of wine and empanadas( really good and freshly prepared) and a snack plate of crackers, meats etc ( also good). 2nd evening popped in for drinks, empanadas ( this time not the same, basically dried out street food) and my wife had a mixed salad ( washed and still wet, limp peppers and whole thing appeared recycled to us) . Had 2 bites of it and left it ( still paid). Nice setting, decor, service very good but **** food on 2nd visit.
Walked from the mall one day and was hot, ordered Frappe's. The next day we knew we had to go back. Ended up walking 5 miles from the old town to get there. It was worth it! They even brought us some free muffins!
