Sweetest people I've ever seen.... That sweetheart can sing

My husband I were visiting the Chautauqua area and every other restaurant we went to was closed on a Saturday no less. We stopped at Docks by chance. The decor is not fancy but our meal was excellent and the service was great! We would definitely go here again.

I know this is a casual place but the last two times I've been here I've gotten a salad (the second time hoping they would redeem themselves) and they were both awful. All of their salads are made from the bag mix you get from the grocery store with the little shredded carrots and cabbage bits. The first time, some pieces of lettuce were even wilty and brown on the edge, I just picked them out. It's one thing to use a prepackaged iceberg lettuce as maybe a side salad base but when the whole entree is a big chicken salad, I expect it to be made with a mix of fresh, darker greens. Maybe I expected too much? Not sure. It's a shame the food is so poor because the only redeeming quality was the nice outdoor seating.

Wait staff was friendly and food was delicious. Can 't go wrong with all you can eat crab legs!
