The Cove African Creole Soul Food

My mom was raving about this place, and although I've never been, 1) my mom is an excellent cook and has an exquisite taste in food, 2) she doesn't rave about food that isn't absolutely delicious, and 3) there's a high chance she won't get around to actually leaving a review online. So I'm leaving it for her. The flavors, the cultural range, the service, and the owners definitely all left a great impression on her! I live in NY, but I'm hoping to try it myself one day.

The restaurant was the greatest experience in my life. Amazing food, clean place, friendly service. I don't normally like sausage, but the gumbo was amazing. If I could rate the restaurant on 1 out of 10 scale, I would rate it a 12. This is a very awesome restaurant. I can't wait to come back against.

Shoooooo ???????????? SO FIRE. Loved the fried plantains and the Jamaican Goat Curry is simply off the chain!! You won't be disappointed ????

Stopped in here for the first time yesterday with my mom and I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. The food is delicious. My mother and her parents are from New Orleans so I grew up eating southern/Creole food. The gumbo at Bryant's Cove is so far the only restaurant gumbo I have liked as much as my mother's and grandfather's (even after visiting New Orleans). We were so excited that we ended up getting the gumbo, the seafood boil (her original seasoning is toDIE for!! not too spicy but packed with flavor), the fried plantains, and then my mom got jambalaya and carrot cake to go!! The workers are also a joy, and we got to talk to the owner for a while. She is so personable and creative! Therestaurant is clean and comfortable, and I'll be ordering take out from them regularly now. Great little spot to have some flavorful, yummy soul food. Loved it.

Such a delicious experience! A great variety of foods, some familiar and many not, but all so yummy. So glad we found this place and we can?t wait to come back!
