Bamboo Hut - Mawlamyine

It has full scent of blend with natural style of bamboo and coconut culture. Evening and Nighttime Acoustic Band entertains every day. Chinese and Siamese cuisine are good, really delicious and cheap, but small in quantity.

Nice place, would highly recommend. Beautiful surroundings, very relaxing environment with views of the river and very friendly owners. I'm back.

Came across this place by accident and stayed for 2 great meals. Particularly recommend as a cool and clean refuge after going round the town centre in the midday heat. Menu good and well priced. Decor and design in bamboo with high ceilings so keeps out the heat. Owner speaks good English and all the staff very friendly and professional. Absolutely would say the owner has got it right with good hygiene in the eating and kitchen areas so sets a benchmark for other restaurants in the town.
