Chilli Lime - Matraville

At first glance, I wouldn't have classified this as one of the worst banh mi style rolls I've ever had. However, upon closer inspection, many aspects of it were strangely off. The roll itself was unusually dense, not in a hearty way but more so without any appealing taste or texture. The pork schnitzel (all rolls priced at $9.50) was small, tough, and dry. The overall lack of moisture in the roll was exacerbated by the minimal amount of chili sauce, which was overwhelmingly salty. In fact, the saltiness of the sauce was so intense that it caused my lips to dry out.

I've tasted the chicken vermicelli salad. Ordered over the phone through a work group order. nice bags and presentation.. has vego, pork, mear, chicken, etc my salad was flavoursome. pricing fair. .Was good.

They make the best rolls there..... I usually have salad roll,it's so nice and their bread rolls,so nice fresh and crunchy...we love their spring rolls and dim sims are just delicious.

Frequently visit this place and have to say it's the best roll I can find anywhere in Sydney. The bread always has that perfect crispy outside and soft fluffy middle. Fillings are just as epic and staff are really friendly and efficient. I usually phone ahead and order so can pick up quickly, but just found out these guys are also on Uber Eats so will definitely be ordering via that now! Keep up the good work Chilli Lime!

The food at this restaurant is fantastic, the staff is friendly, and there is a wide selection to choose from. I highly recommend trying the Chilli Lime dish, I have been a long-time customer and I just can't get enough of it.
