Il Terrazzino - MATERA

Food was good and it is clearly a popular place. However, I booked it on site and surroundings and the photo on The Fork does not represent the current appearance.

Our guide recommended the restaurant. It was great. Good liquor drinks. Beautiful view over Matera and good value for money. We would recommend to everyone

Stopped here for lunch after looking at the menu outside because we really wanted pizza only to discover no pizza at lunch. We shared a meat and cheese plate that also had olives. I had eggplant parm which I did not love, but husband did. Husband and our friend enjoyed their lunches. Good views from window seats.

A busy little restaurant with a beautiful outlook but if you cant sit on the balcony, inside is a delight of antiquity. You are welcome to investigate the cellars and rooms below and will know you are in Matera. The staff were so warm and friendly and the food was fresh and delicious just like Mama would make. We went twice to this little gem.

If you look for authentic Italian simple cuisine with view and tasty food just trust it! Everything we tried was very satisfying!
