Bidra med feedbackWe had dinner with relatives and friends and we weren't too impressed; the location is beautiful, located on the main square but the food is average, there is better in Matera. We took a house starter for two people which was very simple and included grilled vegetables, raw ham, meatballs with sauce, some dairy products and an octopus salad that came out of a tray in oil. Our friends had a pizza which they thought was good. Service: Dine in

Wonderful location, this was an old cloistered monastery dated 1735!Now is a very nice restaurant. To be improved the service but not that much. Food is almost state of the art with a variety of local choices, such as fava beans purée with herbs and cialledda, that is typical of Matera and is basically a warm soup with bred, here is served as cold bred salad so I will not give 5 stars because is not done as it is supposed to be topically. Matera should be more brave offering real local food, sometimes it lack in this. Pizza here is very light and old Matera style: dry, crunchy. With perfect ingredients. Try the lemon pizza, very refreshing and light.
Great Aunt Lina! Never was advice more apt! Your nephew was absolutely right... Succulent meatballs in sauce... dragged by I scream and a touching fried cod... very honest prices and the friendliness and courtesy of the landlady who really made us feel like family! Thanks for everything!... ah the top location...Central square overlooking the Sassi...I can't wait to stay in the B&B Service: Dine in
Good pizza, but be careful as they are charging next to the normal price also so called service fee of 2 EUR per person. Which I find totally unfair, as I do not understand what is than included in the normal price of a pizza and drinks.... Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €10–20
