Bidra med feedbackWe ate at Pic Nic as a family during our stay in the area and had a great experience. We headed down just before 7pm and were first there so were sat at a lovely table to enjoy the views while the owners finished setting up for the evening. We ordered Spaghetti Bolognaise, Croquettes, and a Pizza Margherita to share and all were great (and plentiful! . These, along with a half litre of wine and water, came to less than €30. What a bargain for such a good meal. We were the only ones there throughout our meal (apart from a couple who were arriving as we were finishing so it did seem very quiet but I couldn't fault the food or service at all, and what lacked in atmosphere was made up for by the views.
We've been there a few times. It's very reasonably priced, half of what you'd pay in Sorento, and the food is amazing. This is a family owned biz and the original owners still work the kitchen even though they are well into their eighties. This is a great place to visit for excellent typical home made Italian cuisine. It's most easily accessible by car.
Despite the fact that we had a mixed group of children, working people and elderly, the staff at Pic Nic were amazing to cater us at our needs. Lovely local ingredients, fried pizza, potato rolls stuffed with herbal ricotta and spicy broccoli sprouts were one of the few things they offered. We loved the eating at home vibe they offer at Pic Nic. And the bill was a pleasant surprise. :
We have eaten at several restaurants in Massa Lubrense but Pic Nic was the BEST of them all. So good that we came back twice . We tried many things on the menu: antipasti , primi piatti, secondi piatti and dolce (apetizer, first course, second course and desert). Everything was scrumptious ! You must eat there if you are around , I promise that you wont regret it
Amazing. Truly the best pizza we’ve a.m. ever had and we are very critical. Other food delicious as well. Family owned and they were so wonderful and welcoming. We came back a second high!!!! Funny name and not much on the outside but go downstairs and try it!
