I enjoyed a cheese delight and fries. I highly recommend the home made root beer. It has a rich vanilla flavor and tickled my taste buds. The classic checkered wrap was a nice nostalgic touch.

Under new ownership...now called Awe 'z Sandwich Shop...but no worries, rest assured, pretty much everything is unchanged...same counter seating and service, same table/booth seating arrangement...same good food and service. Came for the loose meat sandwich and was not disappointed...just like the Maid Rite...you can get the large size or the smaller size, it all depends on if you want a larger burger bun, or a smaller burger bun...they are priced accordingly. This joint has been here for generations...still going strong...there was a really good lunch crowd the Thursday that we visited. Enjoy !!!
