La Palapa - Mascota

This place gains hands down for the number of characters around the city to promote. But it's easy to drive without noticeing the shield directly. Make sure to look for the Palapa roof. They have a surprisingly wide menu, but not enough...clientele still allow them to always have the full content list. Cut them a bit black and they will be sure to offer you a pleasant meal. Ask what the waiter recommends this day. Or order what you want on the menu and see if it comes back from the kitchen set to offer an alternative. I was trying to try the salmon, but thought that in a place like Mascota, most people would choose beef, so I got the rib-eye steak and a salad this time. The salad was huge, with lots of fresh vegetables (potato, tomatoes, cucumber, onion, mushroom and really fresh green). The steak was nicely grilled and came with a baked potato and a lot more vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini, onion and carrots, al Vapor . For someone like me who enjoys meat but really wants a good portion of vegetables, that was great! Mascota is not a restaurant mecca, and it is hard to find the places in the city. This is a relatively new place, easy to find (you need to drive by car to get from Mascota towards Vallarta).
