Catered to dietary requirements (including veggie we let them know in advance. Was an excellent place to meet halfway between Rimini and Florence. We drove but there was also a large group of hikers, and the nearby trails looked promising. Not a place to rush. I think we were there for at least three hours.
You need a car to reach the top of the hill where this restaurant is located. The landscape is breath taking and you can also enjoy a walk on the hills to digest. Kids have plenty of space outside to play. The room where you eat is small (30 persons max). One very charming young woman is the cook and the waitress. She only cooks 3 or 4 dishes, typically meat based, and you need to choose among them. All the dishes are delicious and ingredients are of top quality. A lot of vegetables are grown by them and also several animals are bread by them. The place is simple but warm. Reservation is a must. Budget around 30€ for a full meal
Beatrice, cook and owner will put you at ease from the beginning pampering you with simple, non-banal dishes, and of excellent quality including vegetarian options. the farm is located on a hill a few km from marzabotto and enjoys a wonderful view of the valley. courtesy, genuineness and empathy add to everything else making this place exceptional.
