Bidra med feedbackDecent spot. They make some things here in house like the burgers, fries, and the soups and they are all solid. I have only had good customer service there. A good value for lunch.
What a Dissappointment. So much for the best fish and chips in Maryville. Flaherty's has partnered with Hot Rod's Diner owner to provide low quality food and lower prices. The fish was very fishy, overcooked, and the batter was not light, fluffy-crispy like a good fish and chip should be. It was more like a Cajun breading, minus the seasoning, and burnt in places. The fries were over cooked. The coleslaw was very sweet, like a cabbage dessert. Now let's move on to the tarter sauce which was once fabulous. Totally generic, pureed, and you got, it sweet, instead of tangy. Such a disappointment. The Caesar salad was basically croutons and Parmesan cheese...approximately 3/4 cup croutons and over 1/4 cup of Parmesan. I kept thinking, "Where's the lettuce?" Needless to say, I did not ask for a to-go box, nor was one offered to me. I went home and ate a sandwich instead. We really loved the Irish Corned Beef Bites and the Fish and Chips were goodWe were there at an off time, so of many people, but service was good.
NEW OWNERS: We decided to give the Irish Pub another shotOrdered the Fish and chips and it was great The staff was great too.
Can't go wrong here with the lunch specials good food for the price. Burger day is by far my go to day. Overall a solid lunch spot and good service.
