Jb's Seafood - Marshville

I have ordered from this restaurant a few times. I encountered issues with oyster shells in the fried oysters, but I am not going to complain. Last year, we ordered the seafood plate with oysters and a grilled chicken salad with the chicken on the side or in a separate to-go plate. When I picked up the order and started heading home, my daughter informed me that the chicken was on top of her salad. I called the restaurant to ask if they could fix it, but I was told that there was nothing wrong with it and that she could just eat around the chicken. This was not how we had ordered it, but it's okay. I have decided not to return to this restaurant. It is not the same as it was years ago.

Last year we ordered the seafood plate with oysters a Grilled Chicken salad WITH CHICKEN ON THE SIDE or in a separate Togo plate. Picked it up started home on to here from my daughter that the chicken was on top of her salad. So I stop call to ask if they can fix it I was TOLD THERES NOTHING WRONG WITH IT CAN SHE NOT EAT AROUND THE CHICKEN. No that’s not how we ordered it but it’s all good I WILL NOT GO BACK. THIS PLACE IS NOT THE SAME AS IT WAS YEARS AGO.

We picked up 2 large Filet of Flounder plates and a Combo of Filet and Calabash Shrimp with an order of Onion Rings and 2 extra Tarter Sauce $53.16). The first bite of my filet left me with a mouthful of bones. I know there is always a possibility of getting a bone but there was unusually a LOT of bones. The filet and onion rings which are usually delicious) was extremely greasy like the oil was not hot enough before putting the filet or onion rings in. I’m not sure that we’ll give it another try.

We visited the restaurant on a Saturday night and used the drive-thru. The staff member who greeted us was wearing a mask. The food was delicious.

We really enjoyed our food, the service was wonderful. The strawberry pudding was amazing!! So glad we came and will be back.
