Bidra med feedbackLe Palmier was exactly what the doctor ordered, a cheap jewel behind the L’Estaque Seafront restaurants with their price different simple fare. The Tajine dishes are signature and represent the kitchen of the culture of the Middle East, which is represented by the restaurant. The deserts are good... also worth a try. Appropriate price and good value. The restraining owner was charming and lovable, connected to customers. Excellent.
ABSLUTELY AMAZING The food cannot be owed here. Everything was cooked for perfection. Full taste and very filling. The main thing is couscous with meat upstairs and you pour over tomatoes and carrots broth. Good price and very friendly staff. Will definitely go back when I visit again.
I was not a big fan of North African food bases on the few experiences I had before, but this meal completely changed my mind! For the starter we had to share a brik (if we have ever ordered one) that is filled with meat a fried...Pacel of thin crispy pastries (there is a fish option), a fried egg and herbs and spices. It was so good. I wish I could go home. And for the main we had a mixed grill (unsafety of the right name), which served a variation of meat in various ways on cousins and chickpeas. On the side was a dish of a kind of carrot and tomato soup that you pour over the cousin to make it extra juicy. Wow. It was great. If I write that, I could go back now. I recommend everyone visiting Marseille to try this place. Apart from that it was delicious, it was moderately expensive and very fillable (I couldn't finish mine and I'm a greedy pig). You don't serve alcohol, I think for religious reasons, but who cares? Wash the good food with water and go to the pub. Yum.
