Bidra med feedbackMy wife and I arrived in this charming harbour on the outskirts of marseille and after check-in we were led into this family-run restaurant. we felt like different outsiders when we arrived, but with the time we left ourselves from the brothers and (possibly) a sister who greets their time and serve neighbours and friends and some holidaymakers with a bonhomie who comes out of the knowledge that their fine wee and fresh seafood makes for satisfied gönners. my wife and I started with fried calamari, who had an equal weight of seasoning, heat and crispy that made it irresistible. after consulting with one of the brothers, my wife selected to order grilled sea bass caught this day, and I agreed to put the second in the plate for two, the two plus pfund fish. it was a bit expensive at 50 euro (about $56,) but it was delicious, with only one dab of olive oil. it was served with baby sparing, which had the perfect texture that comes only with carefree in preparation. the same could be said for the hollandaise sauce, which was slightly supplemented instead of overwhelming the austerity. not so impressive were a dry green salad and a mix of sweets that were new to me and not very inspiring.
Nothing beautiful but excellent fresh fish at a reasonable price. simple but very good kitchen. one of my favorites is coming away. the restaurant literally has its feet in the water, in the middle of a tiny harbour, away from the city center.
