Le Blanc Blue - Marseille

My friend and I visited this restaurant in the mai, but we remember the lunch we had there. we ordered lachs with roasted potato and seafood pasta. Although they were among the cheapest meals on the menu, they simply tasted amazing!

Fried little fish or mustel for duck, and duck breast for porn was beautiful. I thought bouillabaisse was not so good. I'm recommanding bass steak, instead. dessert was so.

The menu du chef was a bargain. for 17 euro we had a lot of appetizer (octopus salad and a caprese salad) and a whole grilled fish (durade and sea bass) for dinner. and dessert too! everything was well done and there is a lot of competition on this corner for seafood. Look at it.

Avoid this place, I and my partner had seafood dishes that were absolutely coated in very strange tasting sauces, probably to cover their lack of freshness. the tiramusu I had for dessert, tasted like hut cheese. the waiting staff were incredibly rude and awkward making the general experience terrible to make sure that I was just too happy to leave. However, we couldn't even go fast because their card machine apparently wasn't connected, so my partner had to run 8 blocks to get cash.

Don’t go here. I don’t like to leave bad reviews at places but.... Positives: the waitress was very friendly Negatives: starters frozen calamari from the shop, whilst being situated 20m away from the sea?! Come on, not good. Mains I had steak (asked for medium rare) got served a tiny piece of shoe leather. 2 1/2 potato wedges (shop bought of course and most likely microwaved), roasted peppers with zero taste and a ‘fresh’ salad. My girlfriend had chicken escalope in a mushroom sauce. This chicken was non breaded small cubes of chopped chicken in a white ‘sauce’ with 0% evidence of mushrooms. It very much felt like a tin of chicken and white sauce from the shop stuck on a plate. There was the remainder of the potato wedges from the original packet on that plate and the classic ‘fresh’ salad. Dessert: jeez. We both had tiramisu. Never in my life have I had to chew whipped cream! It baffled me. My partner’s had a strange beige liquid swimming underneath. It was more of a ladies’ fingernail than finger. Honestly, worst meal I’ve had in years. Shocking. Don’t go here
