Bidra med feedbackWe did not have a table reservation, and so the option was tapas at shaded tables actually on the beach, and this turned out very well indeed. Cold draught beer (not always available at beach places) served promptly. We ordered 3 dishes to share: all were very good and there were plenty of others on the list which we would have been happy to choose. Wait for the food was a little long, although it didn't really bother us: I think they were stretched to deal with restaurant tables, tapas tables, orders for the sunbeds, as well as a few walk-ups at the bar. The welcome wasn't very welcoming, but the two servers were willing and helpful once we were seated. Prices for the dishes a touch high, but quality and quantity (a very generous portion of crevettes). Would definitely return if at this beach again.
Positive point: the food was very good and also the quantity was ok (but the price is not cheap at all). Negative: very poor organization, lack of courtesy, endless waiting. Icing on the cake: in the parking in front of the beach I found my car with broken window...
Not as bad as I expected by any means. I had a Greek salad and the ingredients were very fresh and some effort had gone into making it more interesting than usual, including the addition of melon and roasted almonds. Quite nice overall.
I didn't expect much from this little resto on the beach however I was wonderfully surprised by our meal. We started with salmon and avocado tartare which was delicious. Thankfully we shared the starter which was of a very good size because the mains were large portions which sadly left us no room for dessert. It was a bit pricey but if you're looking for casual dining with excellent food and service on the beach in Sete, this is your spot...but good luck trying to find their contact details, near impossible! Bon app!
This is an excellent beach bar restaurant sun shack on the apparently endless stretch of glorious strand between Marseillan Plage and Sete. Sun recliners (Transats in French) and umbrellas are €7 a day. Always amazed how little ad hoc kitchens like this produce such good food, but if it's a sandwich or moules avec frites; the lunch here is a tasty treat. A special mention for the music. The owner is clearly a bit of a jazz funk head superb diverse playlists including Terry Callier, George Duke, Airto Moreira and Gil Scott Heron. Excellent soundtracks for a glorious location.
