Temaki - Marquette

For my son, we tried the sweet potato sushi, and we were happy to learn they offer vegan mayo for the rolls! My daughter got a bento box with a cute panda-shaped rice ball, fruit, noodles, and a large egg roll, while I had a similar bento with grilled portobello sushi. The egg rolls were a bit spicier than expected, and my husband's dish didn’t quite suit his taste, but overall, the sushi was delicious. My kids were extremely happy, and I was impressed by how the staff went above and beyond for us.

They have a Japan-inspired table where you can remove your shoes and sit on the floor, while the rest of the seating consists of standard fast-food tables. You order at the counter, and the food is brought out to you. The staff was fantastic. There were a few vegan gyoza options available, and one of the employees came over to help my daughter and me find another vegan choice. She also ensured that my daughter received rice noodles for the bento, mentioning that the other noodles were not vegan. In the end, we chose sweet potato sushi for my son (and they even had vegan mayo for the rolls!), and we ordered a bento with a panda-shaped rice ball, fruit, stir-fried noodles, and a large dish for my daughter, along with a similar bento featuring grilled Portobello sushi for me. The egg rolls were a bit spicy, and my partner didn't enjoy his meal as much. However, overall, the sushi was delicious. My children were extremely happy, and I was thrilled to see how the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us.
